Mushroom and Soppressata Pizza

Soppressata makes a great substitute for Pepperoni on this pizza.

Serves: 8

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Bake Time: 15 minutes

1 package of store-bought pizza crust

10-12 slices of soppressata (If you’re fancy, if not, any dry salami will do.)

1 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced

1 cup pizza sauce

1 tablespoon olive oil

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Roll out pizza dough

  3. Drizzle 1 tablespoon olive oil on a parchment-lined baking sheet and set rolled-out pizza dough on top.

  4. Spread sauce on top of dough.

  5. Sprinkle with mozzarella

  6. Layer the soppressata and mushrooms all over.

  7. Sprinkle with more cheese.

  8. Bake until edges are lightly browned and cheese is melted - 15-20 minutes.
