Oatmeal Cinnamon Raisin Bites

Think of it as a cookie without all the guilt and sugar.

These bites are perfect to keep your powerhouse powered up for “on the go” days or eating. They will also satisfy a sweet tooth.


Ingredients


1 cup (gluten-free) rolled oats 4 tablespoons ground flaxseed 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon ½ cup nut butter or peanut butter of choice 4 tablespoons honey (substitute maple syrup if you're vegan and don't eat honey) 1 teaspoon vanilla extract ½ cup of raisins

Directions

  1. Combine all the ingredients into a bowl and mix it all up.

  2. Roll mixture into one-inch size balls.

  3. Place the Powerhouse bites on a baking sheet or plate and put in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes.

  4. Store in an airtight container or reusable bag in the refrigerator for up to 1 week, or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
