Soppressata and Banana Pepper Pizza

Soppresata makes for a nice substitute for Pepperoni in this pizza recipe.

Soppressata and Banana Pepper Pizza

Ingredients

1 package of store-bought pizza crust

10-12 slices of soppressata (If you’re fancy, if not, any dry salami will do.)

1 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup banana peppers, chopped

1 cup pizza sauce

1 tablespoon olive oil


Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Roll out pizza dough

  3. Drizzle 1 tablespoon olive oil on a parchment-lined baking sheet and set rolled-out pizza dough on top.

  4. Spread sauce on top of dough.

  5. Sprinkle with mozzarella

  6. Layer the soppressata and banana peppers all over.

  7. Sprinkle with more cheese.

  8. Bake until edges are lightly browned and cheese is melted - 15-20 minutes.
