Ingredients
2 cups white button mushrooms cleaned, stems removed, sliced
4 tablespoons olive oil (or butter)
2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
4 tablespoons marsala wine
4 tablespoons chicken broth
salt and pepper
12 sliced pieces of baguette, toasted
Directions
Heat oil (or butter) in a large pan over medium heat.
Add the mushrooms and cook until they are golden brown.
Add the thyme, parsley, salt, pepper and wine.
Cook until the wine evaporates.
Add the chicken broth and stir until creamy.
Toast the bread and divide evenly on top of toast.
Garnish with parsley and sprinkle with salt and pepper if needed.
Serve immediately.
