Servings: 16 sliders

Cook Time: 20 minutes
This morning when I went to see my nephews before school Jake reminded me that we were going to be unsupervised for the night. (AKA Aunt Chels was babysitting.) So even though Eli wanted hot dogs and Jake only likes big cheeseburgers this is what I came up with for them and they both ate and loved them. These adorable farm skewers can be found on Amazon.
Ingredients
1 bag of frozen waffle fries
2 pounds lean ground beef
4 slices of cheddar, 2 orange, and 2 white, quartered into small squares
8 cherry tomatoes, sliced in half
16 dill pickle chips
Salt and pepper
Olive oil if cooking the burgers in a pan instead of on the grill
16 farm skewers, cut down one inch
Directions
Select 16 large waffle fries and bake them on a sheet pan according to package instructions.
Take the ground beef and form into 16 small patties and sprinkle salt and pepper on each side.
Cook on medium heat on the grill, or heat oil in a large pan over medium heat, and cook on each side for 1-2 minutes.
Add cheese slices on top and cover until cheese melts.
Place the waffle fries on a serving platter and top with cooked sliders, a pickle chip, and half of a cherry tomato.
Put a skewer through the center to hold it together.
Serve with ketchup.
