When I think of quesadillas, cheese and guacamole come to mind. The thought of putting peanut butter in a quesadilla and making it sweet was not on the top of my recipe to-do list. Much to my surprise it made a delicious treat that my nephews absolutely loved as well as my adult friends. The peanut butter adds protein and the fresh strawberries make it taste like you’re eating peanut butter and jelly. Make these for breakfast on the go, a snack, or even as a healthy-ish dessert.
Ingredients
2 large tortillas
1 banana, sliced
6 strawberries, sliced
4 tablespoons peanut butter
2 tablespoons chocolate chips
Olive oil or nonstick cooking spray
Directions
Preheat the air fryer or oven to 400 degrees.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Spread the peanut butter on half of the tortilla.
Place the strawberries, sliced banana, and chocolate chips on top.
Close the tortilla and drizzle with oil or spray on both sides.
Place on a baking sheet or place into the air fryer and cook for about 2 minutes on each side.
Cut into triangles and serve as is.
