Sausage & Tuscan Kale Pizza


1 package of store-bought pizza crust

1 pound hot Italian sausage - casings removed

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

5 cups fresh Tuscan kale, chopped

1 cup pizza sauce

1 tablespoon garlic, minced

1 tablespoon olive oil

Parmesan Cheese to sprinkle on top

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

  2. Roll out pizza dough.

  3. Drizzle 1 tablespoon olive oil on a parchment-lined baking sheet and set rolled-out pizza dough on top.

  4. In a separate pan cook sausage and drain. Add the kale for a few minutes and mix it all together with the garlic.

  5. Spread sauce on top of dough and sprinkle with mozzarella and then layer the cooked sausage and kale all over and sprinkle with more cheese.

  6. Bake until edges are lightly browned and cheese is melted for about 20 minutes.

  7. Top with parmesan cheese if desired.
